How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at our Longview custom towing mirrors on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. As you can see, taking a look from the driver's perspective in the rear view mirror, this is where your visibility is with the stock mirror. So you notice you have a pretty good amount of space, but you don't have a full picture of the lanes next to you. Adding your towing mirror gives you this wider perspective so you can see more of what's going on behind you, and it just gives you an extra measure of safety. So let's take a closer look at our mirror itself. It's constructed of PVC plastic, which is gonna hold up against the elements, UV light, and the weather as far as the heat and the cold. more

K-Source Snap and Zap Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2024 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Snap and Zap towing mirrors from K-Source on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. As you can see, using your OEM mirror from the driver's side perspective, you still have plenty of field of view where you can see what's going on behind you, but adding that additional towing mirror is gonna give you that additional visibility and safety to see the whole picture of everything behind you, even traffic from the middle of the next lane. So it can be very helpful and safe to just add that addition when you pull in a trailer. Let's take a closer look at the materials and some of the features that make the snap and zap a little bit better as far as your towing mirrors. The coolest thing about it, it's all one piece. There's no screws or hooks or anything that you need to attach it to your vehicle. more

This is an example of the positioning from the driver's perspective. You can see with the OEM mirror, you can get a pretty good view of what's going on behind you on the trailer. So this would, for demonstration purposes, would be full visibility in an entire different lane, so you'll know everything going on behind your vehicle for safety. You wanna use these custom towing mirrors in the event that you are towing something pretty large, like this boat that we have here. It's gonna give you more visibility when you're changing lanes, backing up or making turns. As you can see in the factory mirror, I'm visible here, but I will disappear off of that factory mirror and now I'm visible on the towing mirror. So like I said, it just gives you a little bit more visibility to see things that your trailer might be bumping into. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today We're going to be going over and showing you how to install the SEPA custom fit towing mirrors here on our 2020 GMC Sierra 1500. So a lot of questions we get about these towing mirrors here, is that they're worried about restricting some features that may be on the vehicle such as the fold in or breakaway feature. We're not going to have any issues with that. As you can see here, we can still fold our mirrors completely in without contacting the vehicle. Today, on our 2014 GMC Sierra 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror, which is also sold as a set. A towing mirror is really going to enhance our field of view whenever we're pulling a trailer, and that can be especially useful whenever you're making lane changes, backing up into a tight parking spot, or even just wanting to keep a close eye on what's going on behind us. To give you an example, I'm visible in our towing mirror but not in our factory mirror, and that's just how much more you're going to be able to see. Now, if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of the towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror. And you might have noticed, that's really going to help eliminate any of those blind spots too.Now, one of the big differences I noticed with this towing mirror, in comparison to some of the others, is the clarity of the lens. more

But as I take a step towards the outside I'm no longer visible in our factory mirror, but I can clearly be seen in our universal towing mirror. This is particularly useful when merging onto the highway, changing lanes, or during parking maneuvers. Each mirror is adjustable both vertically and horizontally.While your mirror's installed, you'll still have most of the adjustment on your factory mirror. more

Today on our 2019 GMC Sierra 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors. This is comes in a quantity of one under part number 7070 or in a quantity of two under 7070-2.As you can see right now, you have vision of me in the factory mirror, but as I step outside, the towing mirror helps give you that vision farther out to help you change lanes and pass. This universal towing mirror gives you more vision when you're towing. You can have it in the vertical position like we do now, or if you prefer, you can tilt it and turn it to the horizontal position. The ball socket on the backside of the mirror allows you to pivot it and move it to give you maximum vision. The clips are going to go around your factory housing and secure it. more

This is useful when merging onto the highway, changing lanes, or during parking maneuvers. These mirrors are adjustable both vertically and horizontally, and while they're installed you can still adjust your factory mirror. We can still fold our mirror in, and we don't have to worry about contacting the body. If you look at the backside of our mirror, the contours flow right into our factory mirror, and the texture and color matches nicely with our vehicle, so it looks like it was supposed to be there the whole time.Located on the bottom, there's a cutout that will allow your puddle lamp to work properly even when it's installed. more

Speaker: Today on our 2018 GMC Sierra 1500, we're gonna be installing Longview's custom towing mirrors, part number LVT-1800.So, as you can see here, I'm clearly visible on our factory mirror, but as I take a step towards the outside, I'm no longer visible on our factory mirror, but I can still be seen in our custom towing mirror. This is particularly useful when merging onto the highway, changing lanes or during parking maneuvers.The mirror glass is adjustable both horizontally and vertically, and while it's installed, you'll still have full adjustment of your factory mirror.The breakaway feature of the mirror is still functional, and it won't contact the body when it's folded in. The mirror's held on by clipping around the outside, and one here located at the back, and it's the same color and texture of your factory mirror, so that way it blends in nicely and looks like it was supposed to be there the whole time.This is a set of two custom-fit towing mirrors, one for your driver's side and passenger's side, that are really easy to install. I'll show you that now.To begin your installation, slide the hook through the hole at the opening there, sliding it from the front to the back. We'll then take our mirror. We're just gonna slide it over our factory mirror. more

So as you can see here, I'm clearly visible in our factory mirror, but as I take a step towards the outside, I'm no longer visible on our factory mirror, but I'm clearly visible on our universal towing mirror. This is particularly useful when merging on to the highway, changing lanes or during parking maneuvers. Each mirror is adjustable both vertically and horizontally, and while your universal mirror is installed, you'll maintain most of the adjustment on your factory mirror. The mirror will still break away, and you don't have to worry about the universal mirror contacting the body or window glass.It's held into place using two ratcheting straps on the back side. What's nice about this is they have a ratcheting function to insure that they stay nice and tight, a locking cap to keep everything secure. more

This is particularly useful when merging onto the highway, changing lanes, or during parking maneuvers.This mirror has a large convex mirror which gives you a wide angle of view. Now you do want to remember that convex mirrors may cause objects to look closer than they appear. The mirror can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally. more

The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees, so if you'd like to adjust it to that horizontal position you have that option. It can also be adjusted to most angles. more

Today on our 2015 GMC Sierra 1500, we're going to review an install, the Long View custom towing mirror, part number LVT-1800. Now to get an idea what the Long View custom towing mirror is going to look like once it's installed, here I am behind our pickup truck approximately 10 feet. This is seen through our manufacturer's mirror pretty easily, but if we've got a long towing product or maybe a wide one, we're really going to want to see the end of that towing product and that's where the Long View custom towing mirror is going to come into place. Today on our 2014 GMC Sierra 1500, we are going to review and install the K Source Custom Towing Mirrors, Part Number KSA0910. The manufacturer's mirror is for looking directly behind the vehicle. However, if we've got a long towing product or we're trying to change lanes, our K Source is a perfect solution. Makes changing lanes easier and safer. Even with our mirror extension on, it won't interfere with the manufacturer's mirror, whether it's power or manual. Here at the top, we can see the two hooks that grip the top of the manufacturer's mirror and the bottom two hooks that not only grip the mirror, but are also the release so we can remove it. Nice tool free design, simply and easily to put it on or take it off. Here, on the inside of our housing is a nice, soft felt strip to prevent any scratching between our K Source mirror and the manufacturer's. more

Cipa Slip On Custom Towing Mirrors Review - 2014 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
Today on our 2014 GMC Sierra, we're going to be installing the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors. This is for the driver and passenger side, part number on it is CM10950. If you'd like just the driver's side, part number CM10951 and for the passenger side, it's CM10952. As you can see, nice sturdy ABS construction here. It's a custom mirror, it's going to be exact fit for the mirror you've already go on your vehicle.
